We are very fortunate to have a dedicated and generous group of parents who work hard on behalf of all our pupils and parents. They organise and run a range of exciting fundraising events, and the fact that we have an impressive trim trail as well as new books and iPads is a testament to their efforts and generosity.
Our PTA always welcome new members, so if you are considering joining the PTA or offering your support, please get in touch via Mrs Gadd, Mrs Fox or Mrs McGough in the school office who will be happy to pass on your details.
You can find out more via the dedicated Cornerstone PTA Facebook page or keep an eye out on our PTA Notice Board for upcoming events!
Summer Fair 2019
Another exciting and successful Fair took place in June. There were lots of stalls as usual, cakes, ice creams and fresh barbeque food. This year we also had new games, such as: guess the number of balloons in the mini, Spin the Wheel, Nerf Gun Shoot-out, and Play your Cards right.
The children in Year 4 to Year 6 also organised and ran their own stalls to see who could raise the most profit. These included friendship bracelets, chocolate fountain fruit kebabs and mocktails. There was also a fairy/gnome hunt in the Copse and the usual raffle with amazing prizes.
Christmas Fair 2018
This successful and enjoyable event took place on Saturday 8 December. Through the hard work of the PTA and the generous donations from many sponsors and local businesses the PTA raised over £3500 for the school.
Alongside a range of different stalls, there was an amazing and magical Santa’s Grotto, the first ever ‘Cornerstone Christmas Bake Off’, a very popular raffle and a range of craft activities for the children to enjoy.
Summer Fair 2018
The sun shone and the crowds came. Another fantastic event, with a wonderful atmosphere, many activities and stalls and plenty to eat and drink. Thank you to the members of the PTA, staff and governors who all worked so hard.
